Kate first found herself uncomfortably positioned on a mat 13 years ago while recovering from knee surgery. Naively, the intention was to attend a few classes while rehabilitating, not realising what was involved. To this day, showing up and rolling out her mat has remained a constant, rest assured, often still uncomfortable. The positive impact yoga has had on rebuilding Kate, both physically and mentally is the reason why she teaches today.
