Moyoga at St Margaret’s

What can you expect from MoYoga?

A consciously designed sequence each week to ensure yoga is accessible to children by adapting the traditional practice of yoga. Introducing Asana’s (poses) and benefits, Pranayama (mindful breathing techniques), Yoga Nidra (meditation) and the rich history of this ancient practice.

Classes will include elements of storytelling and themes to explore and weave philosophy into practice, building strength, mobility, stability and flexibility.

These are the key fundamentals you will find in Kate’s teachings, understanding the necessity of safety and alignment to ensure the wellbeing of all participants.

Pre-Prep

Excited to announce MoYoga will also be teaching Pre-Prep starting Term 3, 2025. Book below!

  • Time: 2:35pm - 3:15pm

    (Starting 23rd July and finishing 10th September)

Year 1 to Year 3

Kate will collect the participating girls from the Atrium at 3:20pm and walk them to the HPE classroom (above the strength and conditioning room) ready to begin class. Parents are welcome to pick up from the room at 4:15pm. Otherwise, Kate will walk all remaining girls back to the Atrium ready for collection.

  • Term Three 2025

    3:30pm - 4:15pm

    Tuesday Afternoons
    (Starting Tuesday 22nd July and finishing 16th September)

  • $270 for the 9 sessions in term 3.

Year 4 to Year 6

Sessions take place on Friday mornings. Please arrive at 7am to the primary HPE classroom (above the strength and conditioning room) ready to begin class.

    Note: Girls will need to change into their school uniform after the class.
